Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the sliced strawberries with 1/4 cup of sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and 3/4 cup of sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, milk, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the cake batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter, then add the marinated strawberries.
  7. Pour the remaining cake batter over the top and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
