Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Taco Meatball Ring
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, water, and taco seasoning. Crumble ground beef into the mixture and mix thoroughly. Shape into 16 meatballs and set aside.
- Arrange meatballs on a greased rack in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 400°F for about 12 minutes, or until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and reduce oven temperature to 375°F.
- On a greased pizza pan, lay out crescent rolls in a circular formation with pointed ends facing outward, overlapping slightly.
- Place each meatball on the crescent rolls, tucking the pointed end over the top of the meatball. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
- Transfer the Taco Meatball Ring onto a serving platter. Fill the center with lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, olives, and jalapeños. Add sour cream and drizzle with salsa.
