Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Taco Meatball Ring
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, water, and taco seasoning. Crumble ground beef into the mixture and mix thoroughly. Shape into 16 meatballs and set aside.
  2. Arrange meatballs on a greased rack in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 400°F for about 12 minutes, or until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and reduce oven temperature to 375°F.
  3. On a greased pizza pan, lay out crescent rolls in a circular formation with pointed ends facing outward, overlapping slightly.
  4. Place each meatball on the crescent rolls, tucking the pointed end over the top of the meatball. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
  5. Transfer the Taco Meatball Ring onto a serving platter. Fill the center with lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, olives, and jalapeños. Add sour cream and drizzle with salsa.
