- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and soy sauce until smooth and well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (or get your grill ready). Pat the fresh salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Generously coat the salmon fillets with the sweet smoky glaze and let it marinate at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.
- Place the marinated salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or directly onto the hot grill. Bake for 12-15 minutes or grill for about 6-7 minutes per side.
