Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, light brown sugar, and white granulated sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the melted chocolate, eggs, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  6. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients while mixing on low speed until just combined.
  7. Fold in both dark and milk chocolate chips with a spatula and let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
  8. Scoop the dough onto the prepared cookie sheets, leaving space between each dough ball.
  9. Chill the cookie dough in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  10. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 13-15 minutes, letting them cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
