  • 1 cup Diced Cooked Bacon Let it cool before mixing.
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise Optional, can use Greek yogurt.
  • 2 tbsp Sour Cream Can use Greek yogurt as substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Hot Sauce Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced cooked bacon, mayonnaise, sour cream, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Slice a thin layer off the base of each bagel and hollow out the centers to create a well for the filling.
  3. Scoop the cream cheese mixture into each hollowed bagel half, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Arrange the filled bagel halves on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let the bagels cool for a few minutes, then garnish with reserved bacon bits and chopped chives before serving.
